"I hate you people." was all you could say to your family. They were just so perky and nice, and you were...well not. On-top of that, your dad had moved you and your mom to a new town for his work, so you couldn't exactly run over to a friend's house to get away. So after a small argument about having to go to a Prep-School you decided to go and walk around the small town.
It was cold, foggy and wet but latest there was a lack of snow and ice. You started to walk down the sidewalk and looked into the store window of a flower shop, but before you could look away you ran into someone and fell down hard. A tall boy about your age was glaring down at you.
He had dark brown hair and red eyes, he wore a heavy jacket and brown scarf. His hard red eyes looked cold and angry. "I-i'm sorry for running into you." you said. The boy rolled his eyes and held out a hand to help you up. "So uhh what's your name? I'm (y/n)." you said, rubbing the back of your head. The boy didn't say anything just turned and walked into the shop you had been staring at.
You huffed a bit and started to walk again coming to a corner bakery. The wind started to blow hard so you went in, hearing a little bell when you opened the door. "Hello , Poppet!"
You spun around on your heels to see another boy about your age. He had short blond hair and pinkish blue eyes and wore a pink vest with a white under shirt. His face had a few splashes of freckles too. "I haven't seen you around here before."
"Yeah I just moved here.." you said walking further into the store. It smelled like sweets and hot-chocolate.
"Oh so your the on that moved into that old scary house? My brothers used to go up there and cause trouble...but anyway, I'm Oliver."
"I'm -" you didn't finish because the two of you herd some other, rather loud people, come in. You turned to see a red headed male with sunglasses and a boomer jacket fighting a blond haired boy wearing a red sweatshirt. The stopped when they saw you and the red head pulled down his shades to look up and down your body "Who the hell are you?"
"Don't talk like that to a lady!" Oliver said glaring at the two.
"My name is (Fist and last name)."
"Yes (y/n), these are my brothers John and Danial." that made you want to laugh.
Which you did. "These, your brothers?" you chocked between giggles.
"Anyway what are you doing here? Tourist season is over." Danial said poking you in the shoulder.
"I was moved her against my own will..." you said mostly to yourself, and sitting down in one of the chairs."And do any of you know were Black Water High school is?" you asked.
John groaned "Really, you have to go to our school?"
"It's like the only high school out here?" Danial said. Oliver had gone back to making cupcakes and such when John came and sat across from you.
"So, why would you move here?" he asked.
You picked up a salt shaker and pored some of it into your hand, starting to push it around in your palm. "My Dad, he's a writer ya' know (Insert Dad's name)."
"That guy that writes all those gory horror books? He must be creepy.." John said with a little shock.
"Well not the kind of creepy you would think, his very...perky...and well."
"Oliver." John said
"Yeah kinda." you said flecking the salt onto the floor. "Hey, do you know that kid with red eyes? He was at the flower shop earlier..." you said looking back up at John.
"Kasper? Yeah he's friends with Danial, doesn't talk much why you didn't get on his bad side did you?" John asked looking at you with a smug look.
"Well, I kinda ran into him, but he didn't seem too mad.." you said looking back on it.
"Well that's just it, he never let's people know he's mad." John got up and started to walk out "You better get going, the place is about to close."
"See ya'." you said and started to walk home.
Not seeing the red eyes fallowing you.
